There are so many universities globally that most students have the question of “which university is right for me?” With the application season around the corner, Yinghua International School held an International Education Expo on Oct 15th and 22nd, 2018. Representatives from 80 universities in the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, Netherlands and Spain attended the event and provided information about admissions, campus life and future employment, as well as professional advices on university and program choices. For students, it did not only pave their ways to universities, but also broadened their views of the diverse opportunities they might have in the future.
“I have some unanswered questions before, such as what majors I can take in the Arts and what career paths those majors lead to. I was also wondering what career opportunities, especially in China, I would have, with a degree in commerce. Many universities gathered here today. All the representatives are very knowledgeable and my questions got answered.” — Yichi Zhang, Grade 11 student

Canada has always been a preferred destination of our students. At this Expo, Yinghua invited 26 Canadian universities. Most Canadian universities, such as the University of Toronto, delivered comprehensive information sessions, to introduce their departments, admission requirements, application procedures, tuition and funding, etc.

The Education Expo is one of the various supports Yinghua offers to their students. With a professional team, the Academic and Career Development Center, Yinghua has designed year-round programs to assist students in self evaluation, interest discovery, high school course selection, university and program application, as well as psychological health.
The Expo has come to an end, but Yinghua students have just begun the challenging yet rewarding journey towards their dreams. We wish all the best to them!
