On October the 17th, a University Fair was held in Huamei-Bond International College, one of Bond partner schools in China. With twenty-eight worldwide top universities attending, the event gave students opportunities  to speak with university representatives face to face and ask questions about programs, admissions, campus life,  future employment, etc.,  which may help them to determine their university applications.

Grade 12 students surely had tons of questions. “My average mark is 91 now and I got 6.5 in IELTS last month. I’ll retake IELTS in late November. Do you think I stand a chance for Waterloo?” asked one student. “I want to work in Canada after graduating. Do Canadian employers prefer Canadian universities graduates?”another student inquired. The representatives answered each question comprehensively and provided their insights into universities programs.

While Grade 12 students were collecting information for their important decisions, students in other grades took advantage of this event to improve their communication skills. Each of them got a “University Fair Passport” and collected university stamps after their communication with the representatives. Most students got 15-20 stamps.
