ShangdeExperimentalSchool is an investment by ShangDe Education Investment Company Ltd. and was established in September 2003. It is a boarding school with a primary school, junior and senior secondary schools. The campus covers an area of 14 hectares, including 54 primary classes, 46 junior classes and 16 senior classes. The number of students has now reached 4300 and 316 teaching staff, at an average age of 33, includes 150 with intermediate and senior ranks.

ShangDe Experimental School is equipped with a set of modern facilities which enable an advanced pedagogy to be realized: a large student service centre ; 4 main teaching buildings with air-conditioning and multi-media projectors ; a science building with 5 laboratories ; a university-standard library; 60 separate rooms for piano practice; a theatre which can hold 900 people; a physical education and art centre; a table-tennis centre; a swimming pool, a tennis court, 400-metre athletic track ; 4 student canteens and hotel-like accommodation.

With the help of multi-media facilities, modern techniques are practised in classrooms; beautiful melodies can be heard from the piano centre; enthusiasm of the students can be seen in gyms and wisdom is fostered in the library.
